Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Our Story application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Our Story ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

Description of Service

Our Story is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to create personalized stories for children. The service includes:

• AI-generated personalized stories
• AI-generated illustrations
• Story library and management
• Child profile creation and management
• In-app token purchases for story generation

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. The App is designed for use by children under parental supervision.

Tokens and Payments

Token System

Stories are generated using tokens. Each story costs 25 tokens. New accounts receive 200 free tokens (8 free stories).

Purchases

• Token purchases are processed through the App Store or Google Play
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by law
• Prices are subject to change with notice
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes

Refunds

Refund requests must be made through the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) according to their refund policies.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Interfere with the App's operation or security
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Share your account with others
• Upload inappropriate content or use inappropriate custom instructions
• Attempt to circumvent content safety measures

Content and Intellectual Property

Our Content

The App, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by Our Story and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Generated Content

Stories and illustrations generated for you are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You may:

• Save and view generated stories
• Share stories with family and friends
• Print stories for personal use

You may not:

• Sell or commercially distribute generated content
• Use generated content for advertising without permission
• Claim ownership of the AI-generated content

Disclaimers

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Content Accuracy

While we implement safety measures, AI-generated content may occasionally produce unexpected results. Parents should review content with their children.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services (AI providers, cloud storage) that have their own terms of service. We are not responsible for their actions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Our Story shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or content
• Service interruptions
• Unauthorized access to your account
• Any other matters related to the App

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Our Story, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:

• Your access to the App will be revoked
• Unused tokens are non-refundable
• Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Our Story is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
